Custom Golf Cart!

The stock golf cart(1994 stock Club Car) that you see on the top has been transformed into the high performance custom golf cart that appears on the bottom. The transformation of the stock golf cart into the custom golf cart features many of the golf cart accessories that we have available.

To convert this normal stock golf cart into a high speed custom golf cart, we converted the golf cart from a 36 volt to a 48 volt system. We replaced the older 6 volt batteries with six new 8 volt batteries. We then installed a high performance 5.5 horsepower General Electric motor and replaced the existing speed controller with a higher amp speed controller. We also added an onboard computer to communicate with the new 48 volt charger. This high performance custom golf cart now achieves speeds of 25-30 mph!

In order to make this custom golf cart a showpiece, a complete makeover was in order. A beautiful silver was the color choice. We added a new white Club Car top that included new black framed seat backs and new black steel struts to contrast with the silver body. The golf cart accessories that help sharpen the look of this used golf cart include new wheels and tires, new gray custom fit carpet, a carbon fiber custom dash and tray, a black club and ball washer, a black cooler, a new windshield, a Plexiglas back shield, gray sheepskin seat covers and a stereo system that features a AM/FM radio and CD player that is installed in an attractive black overhead console.

In fact the only things that remained the same from the golf cart on the left are the steering wheel, seat bottom, sweater basket, bumpers, molding and bag strap area!

Now you probably would not want to customize your golf cart to such an extreme degree. However, if you did want the ultimate custom golf cart, Edd's Golf Carts has done the job and can do it again!
